Thornton Furniture feels you deserve the best price backed by quality service, and we undertake a variety of measures to make sure that’s what you receive. Most stores have a “guaranteed low price” or some other bold statement followed by a long list of exclusions and disclaimers. We prefer to keep it simple and straightforward. Thornton Furniture guarantees you will not find a lower price on an identical item with comparable terms, services and conditions. We want your business and know we must compete with every other furniture dealer – national chains, “discount” stores, and internet sites like Amazon and Wayfair. We appreciate the opportunity to earn your business, and we won’t disappoint.


  • Purchases of in-stock items may be eligible for cancellation, return or exchange, subject to seller approval.
  • A re-stocking fee of 35% of the purchase price will be assessed on seller approved cancellations, returns and exchanges on IN STOCK merchandise.
  • All returns and exchanges (except for comfort exchanges on qualifying mattresses) must take place within three (3) days of delivery, items picked up are non-returnable.
  • All cancellations, returns and exchanges are subject to seller approval, and items must be in original condition with no signs of wear and tear, scratches, nicks, stains, pet hair, odor (pet, food or household), smoke or other signs of use or damage.
  • Items that were ordered are not subject to cancellation, return or exchange. (this applies to ALL orders – stock, custom/special, etc.)
  • Items sold AS IS are not subject to cancellation, return or exchange.
  • Custom/Special orders are not subject to cancellation, return or exchange.
  • Delivery fees are non-refundable.
  • An additional delivery fee will be applied to all returns and exchanges.
  • Mattress protectors and pillows that have been opened are not eligible for return or exchange.
  • Parts orders, pillows, slipcovers, arm caps, cut yardage, etc. are not subject to cancellation, return or exchange.
  • Guardsman protection plans are not subject to cancellation, return or exchange.
  • Refunds will be given in the same form as original payment. Cash payments will be refunded via company check.


Sealy Hybrids, Stearns & Foster and Tempur-Pedic mattresses are eligible for a one-time, 90 (ninety) day comfort exchange. Mattresses designated as “CLEARANCE” are not eligible. Please contact us for full details.


  • Custom/Special orders are not subject to cancellation, return or exchange.
  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required on all custom/special orders.
  • Availability of merchandise is ESTIMATED according to information on hand at the time the order is written.
  • Seller shall not be responsible for delays in delivery of merchandise occasioned by manufacturer’s scheduling, stock on hand, availability of materials, transportation difficulty or any other cause beyond control of seller.
  • Buyer agrees to measure doorways, hallways, stairways, area where furniture is to be placed, etc. prior to order, as seller is not responsible for merchandise that does not fit.
  • Seller cannot move, haul or rearrange existing furniture.
  • Buyer is responsible for inspection of merchandise at time of delivery or pick-up.
  • Buyer assumes all risks associated with transportation of merchandise picked up.
  • Buyer must schedule a pick-up date & time with delivery personnel.
